Stecker Machine Company is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Manitowoc, WI

Quality Technician Key Requirements:
- Operate CMMs and know how part orientation affects the CMM report.
- Interpret basic points and correlate it back to the CMM report.
- Manage gauges. Track location, assemble and sign-in/out gauges.
- Perform range quality tasks as need.
- Perform verification inspections on First Article parts to ensure compliance with customer specific requirements.
- Ensure quality documentation is completed by machine operators.
- Inspect parts and raw materials for material defects.
- Assist in finding the point of control upon discovery of defective parts.
- Other duties as requested by Quality Supervisor.
- Customer Focus - Keep production running in spec. Work with production to make adjustments.
- Teamwork - Be a part of the quality team and work close with production operators.
- Hardworking - Lots of parts of and people changing all the time, so you have to be tough and hardworking to keep up.
- Dependable - QA and production is counting on you to be thorough and timely. The reward is keeping processes in control, making good parts.
- This is a second shift opening.
- Pay will be based on experience.
- Second shift earns a 8% shift premium.
